History of ROHTASGARH FORT – BIHAR

Rohtasgarh Fort is one of the ancient forts of India which was constructed in the city of Rohtas situated on the banks of Sone River. The fort has been ruined and now cannot be accessed easily due to Naxalite activities. The hill on which the fort is situated has a height of 1500m. Tourists have to climb the stairs to reach the gate of the fort which is very exhausting.

Hazrat Nizamuddin’s Dargah : The holy shrine of Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya.

Shaikh Nizamuddin was born at Badaun in 1236. He lost his father at the age of five and came to Delhi with his mother. Later he became the disciple of the famous saint Shaikh Farid Shakarganj, who appointed him as his successor. His original tomb does not exist any longer.
