Jaipal Singh Munda was born in 1903 in a tribal family of Bihar. Under the guardianship of Canon Cosgrave, principal St. Paulโs School in Ranchi, he took his initial education and got baptized in 1918. Cosgrave after retirement took him to England where he got admitted to Oxford for further studies. These were the formative years of a tribal leader in him. Here he got to study with the likes of Verrier Elwin, obviously which should have some impact over his later understanding.

Syed Mohammad Moin ul Haq, a name that resonated with brilliance and intellect, emerged from the humble town of Asthawan, Nalanda district in 1881.
The photograph shows Mirza Ilahi Bakhsh, or Shahzada Muhammad Hideyat Afza, in 1862. This man was from the Royal house of Mughals who had helped the British in 1857 and played an instrumental role in the surrender of Bahadur Shah Zafar at Humayunโs Tomb. For his โservicesโ, the British recognized him as the Chief Representative of the Royal Mughal Family in 1858. Mirza was also granted jagirs at Meerut and Delhi with a pension of Rupees 22,830 P.A.
